To promote art and culture in the historical city of Nizwa, a 3-day Painting Exhibition was hosted by Nizwa Grand Mall at their spacious mall from March 28-30, in association with the Um Al Fhadel School.
The exhibition was inaugurated by H.E. Mariam Bint Mohammed Al Zadjalieh Director, Omani Society of Fine Arts, who spared her valuable time and visited all the way from Muscat, for a noble cause.
Large number of shoppers especially students and youths, visited the Exhibition and were thrilled to see various types of paintings created by well known and amateur painters from Oman.
“On seeing the paintings, many of them were taken back to their earlier village life, with full of nostalgia,” said an elderly man who spent quiet a good time seeing the various paintings which were neatly placed under the newly refurbished dome.
“Nizwa Grand Mall has been on the forefront of promoting all the social activities which directly benefits to the nationals and the expats,” says Mohammed Al Yahmadi, General Manager, adding, and assuring more such programs will be regularly held, with the sole aim of benefiting the shoppers not only with shopping from the various reputed brands housed in this beautiful Mall, but will be carrying back with a useful social message through such events.
It may be recalled that Nizwa Grand Mall had organized Traffic Safety Awareness drive and Cancer Awareness Walkathon, in the month of February which was a grand success and people still remembers. Since then many of them have been following the traffic rules and regulations as part of their daily routine, says Mr. Ismail Al Ghanmi, IT System Admin of NGM, who was actively involved in implementing the event.
